Wage & Job Info: Housekeeper - $16.50 - $18.00 based on experience, Full time, Includes weekends.

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to maintain clean and attractive rooms for the guests of Oxford Collection of hotels. This position is responsible for the timely and proper cleaning and sanitizing of the guestrooms on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
- Guestroom Cleaning and Sanitizing (80%): Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guestrooms. This includes completing all pre-clean duties, including but not limited to guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set up. Performing cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing linens, removing trash and dirty linens. This position is also responsible for keeping all hallways, public areas and closets neat and clean; preparing the housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day’s use, and reporting any guest borrowed items to the housekeeping supervisor. Provide guest items to manager or supervisor and record to lost and found at the end of shift.
Perform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager.
- Guest Relations (10%): Interact and acknowledge guests. Identify issues and resolve problems. Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guests.
- Other (10%): Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure smooth delivery of services. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Hospitality / hotel work experience preferred
- Housekeeping experience preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and consistent attendance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
- While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
- Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
